Had a super holiday in Turkey last year with a party of friends on a Gulet.

Would like to repeat this, but somewhere where the snorkelling is more interesting.

Have searched through the internet and Carribean, Thailand etc are either bareboat or very expensive charter.

Our group is of mixed budget capability, and the Turkey fortnight was about £1,000 per head. Perhaps too good value?

Anybody any suggestions.

Group of 10. Need comfortable accommodation inc' en suite, etc. Crew to do the main work. Sail or power.

How about the QE2? No? OK! Seriously though, have you looked at the Great Barrier reef, going out on one of the not so remote islands and cruising from there?

Re: liveaboard dive boats

Buy a dive magazine, and try snorkeling with proper tanks, don't need to actually go down. Liveaboard boats offer a range of £ to £££ sizes in caribee, red sea etc.

I like the "mixed budget capability" phrase. You must be in 'puters or consultancy. Anyway, I'll use it!

Try the British Virgin Islands. Excellent snorkelling with loads of unspoilt coral, great sailing, fantastic anchorages, friendly locals, good food, everyone speaks English and you can even open an offshore bank account whilst you're there. Just go easy on the Painkillers
