Chart Updates

I am planning our first family trip out and want to go from Eastbourne to the IOW.

I have purchased charts and have a question re changes to the chart. Is there a website that lists all the changes to a particular chart that I can go to to amend the chart.

I am fairly new to the boating world, completed a dayskipper course and have been to Brighton a couple of times what marina would you suggest on the IOW.

Most of the chart manufacturers have updates online Stanfords(www.allweathercharts.co.uk), Imray(www.imray.com) or admiralty(www.ukho.gov.uk)
I believe the Admiralty site for changes is very awkward but may have changed.... and you will find a lot of changes/corrections won't affect small craft.

Marina - try Cowes 2 big marinas and you could go up to the Folly if they're full. I don't believe they take bookings and fill up firly realy in high season. Two weekends ago Cowes Yacht Haven ( on the West side of Medina) had half roped off - prob expecting a rally or race. Suggest you try + get there + book in before 4 PM

Bembridge: good beach for children and less packed than Cowes/Folly/Island Harbour. No fuel though and facilities a bit basic last summer.

And Bembridge can be "fun" to get in to at lower tides!!
