Could we do it ? Do we want too ? :D
Every watering hole , fuel point , public mooring, slipways and supermarket (aswell as anything else handy ) from Tilbury Docks to Inglesham Lock .
How would it work ? Maybe a list of locks and people could add what they know about a certain area . That could then be edited into the list maybe ?
Could be fun

The EA published a series of maps some years ago. Eliminating some of the errors / items no longer there could form the base.

Chris C-S's book is also a source of useful information.

I should also like to see a user's grading of locks - ease of operations out of hours, laybyes and so on..

I don't suppose there would be a rush either to contribute, or use it?

Your supposed to add the details you want added to the list .
Whilst I have nothing but overwhelming admiration for your enthusiasm and commitment to this project, I fear that the perceived methodology of adding info here bit by bit for later editing and incorporation will prove impossible to maintain.

Ideally, you need a database type web presence where peeps can add info directly to the relevant area without hooman intervention and where it would be easy for peeps to search instantly for specific information.

Please do not regard this (no doubt) unwelcome intrusion as being in any way negative or dismissive of your intent - I just think you will find it impractical in the longer - or even shorter - term.

I will away now, and continue my mental struggle with the trauma of handling fenders over vertical sectional levels...............
