Chart plotter

I have a chart plotter that I believe uses a c map card , yesterday I took the card from my present chart plotter (navionics )and it fits in the other plotter I.e the one that needs a c map? Will it work with the navionics chart , or will it harm the card if I try it out ( sorry but I’m not at home so can’t tell you the names of the chart plotters ) just thinking that I maybe should try it when I get home. Oh yes and if it is the wrong card is there any way that I became download the navionics to the correct card, thanks . Kieron

It might, or might not, harm the card. Some plotters will accept both types of chart card. Without more information, your question can't be answered.
