Charging coil for 4hp Yam

is there a coil available to retro fit to a fairly new 4hp 4 stroke yamaha outboard please?

A 6 amp alternator is listed as an optional extra for current models

You will of course also need a rectifier for battery charging

Don't need a rectifier - it's included.

After I'd posted I wondered if it might be.

I'm more familiar with OMC. With them you get the option of a lighting coil or a battery charging kit ( incl rectifier) or a rectifier to add to an existing lighting coil.

I can always find info on all the old OMC engines at least since 1968 but I have a devil of a job to find stuff on Yamahas and other far eastern brands.
I can even find complete parts manuals for OMC engines back to 1955.
