Has anyone heard of or know anything about the Chapparal boat line? Am interested in anything you might have to offer... Thanks

Look good on the surface - not sure as to the true quality. Expensive tho

Made in Georgia(US variety). Good quality. Friend of mine is on second 20ft bowrider. Very pleased with them. First one survived hurricane Andrew when most of his house near Miami was blown away. Another friend has same model and is very pleased. It's an exhilarating ride with a 7.4l engine! An acquaintance has a 30ft Chapparal, now about 10 years old. Still looks and runs fine.

My brother has a 20ft cuddy which he uses mainly for water sking. He also took it to the channel Islands and France last year (500 miles/week)with no problems. We did get some funny looks coming into St Peter Port - a tourist on the quay was overheard with his vast knowledge of boating declaring that it must be a local boat since it would be lucky to make it as far as Sark. Resale looks OK he was offered 10% less than he paid for his 1 year old boat to trade up.

Nice !!

We had a 18footer 4 years ago - our first boat !!

Very well made, very solid GRP etc.

Sold easily, and didn't lose much after 1 year.

If they had made them in the size we were looking for 3 years ago we would have seriously considered one.Alas they only went up to 25-27foot then.
