Channel Islands Fuel

Most definitely the cheapest around. 1000 ltrs were £0.68 so I was told last week. Jersey is £0.82 a litre according to my invoice.

My friend filled up 3 weeks ago at st Simpsons and saved £280. So not a small amount
I guess you know to book beforehand and you have a 30 mins slot to complete fuelling. They have a jetty there now which helps a lot.
 
Interesting, might try St Simpson, but the entrance looks to be limited and where to lie alongside (1.8m draft). I would like the fuel supplier name and contact number if possible. Thanks

Back in my power boat days, (3 years ago so may be out of date now), we would phone Shell 01481 200800 and Esso 01481 245858.

Get a quote from both, there was a price difference when we checked them for prices.

Looking at my log book, we paid 37p /l and Esso quoted 41.36 / l (2009 August).

Ok, we'll number is fuel supplies ci ltd. 01481 200800. I think rubis deliver as well but I don't have their number to hand on my. Phone.

You should only enter st Simpsons and book the fuel for either side of high water, I am led to believe entrance is quite straightforward provided you don't mind seeing rocks around the place. But that's typical of ci
 
You that's the number. Don't worry too much about access. They will give you a time slot taking everything into account and the bowser meets you, likely others too! There's enough space to mill around and the entrance fine if you keep to the buoys, always a good idea ;-)

They let the hose down from the quay and you bob around a bit tied on to the floating pontoon. No more hairy than a lot of other places and they've seen it all before so are supportive.
 
Many thanks for the info. Will also contact Rubis as I have a relative with a Rubis Card on Jersey and that could increase the discount. Anyone happen to know how much time either side of HW the entrance is passable? Rocks I like, but taking the ground is anathema to me!

Depending on your draft assuming 1.5m for the fuel pontoon its about 3 hrs either side of high water, do not arrive before 3hrs before..

What was the Shell distributor is now Rubis/fuel supplies.

Just don't leave the gun unattended its quite a fast flow.
