Being a bit late out of the blocks (due to the luxury of a few extra days away from the office), here are a few of my photos from the YBW Wokingham branch Easter outing to the Channel Islands.

The fleet consisted of his Royal Derekness and Ocean Tigress:

Roger Rat and Panache:

And of course myself and Mrs Jezbanks with Whitelighter:

The old girl wasn't looking too bad either...

I think you all know where we went and who was there, so I'll just post me best piccies for the collective enjoyment of you all.

Doesn't 'Oujo' look FAB? Bet Tim and Kirsty were grinning from ear to ear. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

2 hours to Weymouth - not bad eh? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No, not bad at all. Sea was like a mirror most of the way so averaged about 29knts. Very pleasant.

Happy Birthday for yesterday BTW - weather looks good this weekend as well.

Took 70 odd pictures over the weekend, have a look here photobucket and take what you want. They are all pretty high res /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif!

Excellent pics, jezbanks. Really jealous as it's continuous rain in Palma at the mo. Btw I think it's the Gouliot passage off Sark

Morning Jez
Nice photos, the ones of the sunset into Beaucette are excellent. Was the one with the rocks taken going through the humps? Seems like you had a great crossing to Weymouth, I'm sure you were pleased to be able to set your own speed instead of staying with the 'slow' boats /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Probably used 2 thimblefuls of nice white Guernsey fuel /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Tim & Kirsty's boat looks the business, I'm sure they are delighted. Look forward to there company soon.
We did hit a bank of very thick fog approx mid channel on Monday, down to 5/10 mtrs viz for a time but only lasted for about 15/20 mins. (long enough)
Good to know all's well and everybody is home safe /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Got a bit frisky with the throttles so it is a tinsey winsey bit more than two thimbles full. Still, Beucette to Hamble via Weymouth was fun, and I still have 1/3rd of a tank left, so not too bad...
