Is there any truth in the rumour that harbours with a reasonable transport link to London will be full during the Olympics?
That is what I have been told in Belgium: harbours like Brighton, Dover or Ramsgate will be used for cheap-ish accomodation by boat-owners who want to visit the Games. Or is this just a misinterpretation of the restrictions in Weymouth and Portland?

Cobblers. They just want you to stay on tuther side!

They are more likely to be full cause of all of us escaping from the olympics....

And not going to Belgium.

Oh, yes, red diesel! I must be out of my mind to contemplate going to the UK, which more or less inevitably means returning home with a tank full of red diesel and subsequent risk of fines. Thanks for mentioning, now is still time for a rethink.

I heard a rumour recently that even Weymouth isn't fully booked.

Having seen the fees and how well they've been received, I'd think it's especially Weymouth isn't fully booked !

The council have done the place and its' businesses no favours at all building up ill feeling which may last a long time after the circus clears off.

The're handing out £5 off vouchers for berthing at Weymouth once the circus is over.

Think we drowned ours in the rain, the other weekend. Nice little thing £5 off Poole, Weymouth or Yarmouth.
Just a shame Weymouth is shut for summer and Poole is so expensive it makes no diffrence :D:D

With weather as it is would you book for a night or 2 in Weymouth not knowing what weather you will face on the way there or back?
