Just considering changing the name of my boat, I hear it is unlucky.

I suppose like anyone I could be slightly superstitious if anything could risk me any sort of bad luck!

So what is the right maritime thingy to do here?

Boat naming is the most difficult choice of all.

Far easier to choose a wife, and they come ready named, usually.

My advice, stick to the original, you can blame it on the previous owner, (and save the cost of a bottle of Tesco's Cava.)

LOL......Wotcha Jim, funny you should say that......the wife reckoned she was stuck behind a low loader today on the A127, had a boat on it and the driver seemed to be lost.

From memory she claimed that the lorry went round Gallows Corner R/bout 3 times!

Yep,

That was from experience a few years ago. for me today would be nearer three hundred, this is why I do not want to change name of boat, or even that of galley slave

Hiya John...hows things down below mate? Yes as you can see I am having problems deciding wether to rename my boat.

Trouble is I'm not sure I like the name 'Melissa' which is her current name. However some names I have in mind are: 'Essex Gal', 'Me Julie', 'Loose Lady' and 'Sea Bitch'.

Do you have any suggestions John?
