Dear sirs,

I will install an MF/HF Sailor HC 4500 and i need to change its MMSI, how i can change the Mmsi number by myself.

Most systems are not changeable by the user. You will either need to send it back to the manufacturer to be reset, or find a specialist with the cables and software to do the job, unfortunately.

You're wasting your time replying to Cuza. He's some sort of amateur bogus marine radio engineer. If you look at his past posts, he's always claiming to have some sort of recently-acquired radio he needs help on. All we're doing by helping him is doing his job for him!

Yes pvb has write, I exagerate with my post, I'm incomer in marine electronics and I think that I ask to some questions should not be a problem.

I want to say sorry for all the users that I upset, disturbed.

So what I can do now? I will try to help the other users how I can, to make a balance.

paperwork or marked on the radio.


These people do Sailor for the offshore and fishing vessels in the UK.

That's because the link has dropped the last few characters (i.e. the [1].pdf part). These were dropped from the end of the link because of the [ ] characters. It will work if you type them into the address bar after clicking the link in the post or try my corrected link below.

Best regards guys i succeded to see the file, i have to search the code that they speak.

I'm not sure that sailor have an specific code like furuno or nauticast.
