Changing lenses in VDO gauges?

I'm prompted to post because of this thread in For Sale forum:

The lenses on all of these are badly clouded ... if the lenses were replaced would be close to as new...

In reply to my question:

There was a thread here where someone changed the glass, so definitely doable.

Which says:

Apparently you remove the gauge, fish out the rubber and change the lens.

My gauges have a metal bezel on the front, I can't see how to remove it. Any thoughts!

Depends on which range of VDO gauges you have and the ones in then add

I have the Ocean range and those lenses are just prised out from the frame once the black or white plastic bezel is removed by twisting clockwise.
