Has anyone got any experience of replacing rod rigging with wire? We have an X-412 which is now used mainly for cruising so I would rather save the money - standing rigging due for replacement this year.

I looked at this & stuck with rod becuse you will need to change the swages & this will errode/remove the cost difference between the rod/wire.
