Changing forum name ?

Now Sami is sold and I dont have a boat in lymington should I change my name ?
I was thinking of changing it to

Jobs a good un !

Is it the done thing once your boats sold

Just go into options,change it to what you like, then submit change. Mods will approve it (or not!!) and jobs a good un.....

personal preference.... I changed mine from the original one I used because no-one knew how to pronounce it, to my boat name, and then again earlier this year when I bought a new boat.....again to the boat name...... is it hassle?... no.... is it worth doing?... yes.... as peeps will recognise you on the water if they know your boat name, and come over to say hullo!

Changed mine to my boat name when it became apparent that several (mostly bewildered Englishmen admittedly) thought I was ma churley 22 rather than Mac Hurley 22. I've met a couple of folk since then who have been able to say hello because of the change.

I changed my boat but kept my name - sort of got used to it. I think you were the only person to ever spot me and make the link.

Can't see the point anymore. When I changed my name, each time, the post count dropped to zero again so I had to start from scratch. Only just getting back to where I was.

Well i did it ,i must say your name is one of the better ones on the forum along with your avatar
i remember that day you were along side the town quay in lymington we were quite new to boating
