Mariners should be aware of important depth changes in Admiralty Chart 1152, this affects not only the Welsh side of the channel but the approach to Burnham via the Gore Buoy (Hinkley) and the North Passage. When navigating at low water in some areas the reduced depths could impact on your pilotage. There is now a new edition of chart 1152 available issued 3/5/2012. For those members going to Cardiff waters a new edition of chart 1182 Barry and Cardiff Roads with Approaches is available issued on 15/3/2012
