There are plans to re-open the old chandlery at Bradwell as part of a branch of the Bradwell village community shop. Volunteers are required.

The shop has been done up

I think Marinestore will act as suppliers - there are already some items on racks. It would be great not to have drive miles to get stuff. Basic food stuffs also to be sold. Let's hope it is successful - nice to hear of things starting up rather than closing down :)

the basic foodstuffs alone will be a great incentive to go into Bradwell, it is surprisingly difficult to buy even bread and milk on much of the East Coast, and Bradwell is reasonably priced as marinas go.

Hi Folks,

He bought some milk on Saturday morning and had a nice chat with the chap serving,so hope it all goes well.Visited communite shop in village and bought pasties to keep us going on an epic trudge to St Peters on the wall. This is the first time we,ve visited Bradwell and look forward to visiting again.
