Hello everyone, I'm new to boating and new to this forum, so apologies if some of my questions are naive or have been asked before.
We live in SW France and we've recently bought a 1960s Norfolk Broads cruiser which is moored on The Lot.
We're learning as we go! And we've come up against an interesting "challenge". Although the guide books tell you there are grey water pump out stations on The Lot, what they omit to mention is that none of them work!
We have a full sewage tank which we need to pump out. Has anyone any suggestions what pump we need? (We're hoping to get the local marina to buy it.)
Or failing that, has anyone had any experience of getting a local sewage tanker company to come and pump it out? In this part of France most rural properties have septic tanks so there are plenty of companies that will come and empty them.
Grateful for any other suggestions / advice. Thanks.
Cheers Sue
