Many thanks all. I've got a very strong stem fitting, 8ft of 8mm chain with a snubber and tested shackles, moused and zip tied. To this spliced 3 strand over the bow roller and to the Samson post. All in all it cost about 6 months insurance. Should I reduce my excess and buy cheaper line?
