Very disappointing compared to previous visits. Seems more beers were off rather than available, we both had steaks, came with a measly portion of chips and a bit of salad. My steak was inedible, very hard to cut, let alone chew. Sent it back, to be fair, they immediately offered a replacement so I went for a burger which was a few pounds cheaper. I asked about being refunded the difference only to be told it was a direct replacement. I complained again and the manager agreed to the refund.
Maybe there's been a change in management, I didn't see the older lady who's always been there in the past. Unfortunately we won't be rushing back, especially as there's so much local competition. The range of beers in the Front is exceptional.
