I have a rope mooring penant, for a swinging mooring and want to beef up the chaff protection. It seems to be chaffing on the forestay. Can anyone reccomend anything? I was thinking of an inner tube, but a few more layers won't do any harm...
Also, I was thinking of running a couple of extra lines from the boat to the buoy, with plenty of slack in them - is this a good idea, or will the whole lot just chaff against each other?
