We went out sailing the other weekend, and found to our dismay, that our elderly (inherited with boat) Cetrek (?combi - does speed and depth) only showed the depth, but the speed was "0", so at least something was registering, and yes, we were moving through the water at the time. Thank goodness the depth (East coast sailing) was showing. We checked the only impellor we can reach when in the water, and it was free of weed etc. We'd have to haul out for the other one, or I can put my diving gear on and jump into foul marina water.

The electrics seem to be joined up, and have worked fine until now. I tried the Cetrek free online service, which was zilch. I dont know the serial number, or the model, unless it is "Combi". Does anyone have a manual, or is it the usual expensive trip to the electrics chap, who will no doubt shrug his shoulders and suggest it's OOD, buy a new one.

Thanks, as usual, for help and advice, which you might be interested to know is generally acted on!

Try Tolley Marine in Poole, I think a lot of them are ex Cetrek employees.

Don't know if you're still after a manual...

I've got a Cetrek Combi... think model no. is 930 352. I've got the instruction manual, but not much in it about the transducers (may be a seperate manual somewhere for these - will check).

If you want a copy give me a shout - quit a lot to scan so think it'd have to be snail-mail though. Alternatively I could email a sketch of the wiring for the speed transducer etc. if that's what you're after.

If you do end up replacing it would be interested to hear how you get on! Mine has a button that no longer works (can't change options like keeping light on, re-calibrating keel-offset etc.), and might get around to replacing it, especially if I can keep the log transducer or get one that'll fit in the existing slot.

Cheers.
