Hi
Has an autopilot error. Cetrek 930-737 panel, controller 930-617. Error message 224, engine not running. Fuses are ok. Does anyone here have any good suggestions for further troubleshooting?

thanks!

Further to my last, just found the following on another forum...
RUDDER DRIVE FAULT • The Pilot computer has sent a drive command to the drive unit but the Rudder Feedback Unit has not detected a change in the rudder position. Check that the Rudder Feedback has not become disconnected from the Rudder Arm, also check that the steering system, especially the motor, is operating the rudder gear correctly. Ensure that the drive unit cables have not become disconnected or loose

Thanks alot matt8442!
I forgot to tell that i`ve got the manual, thanks for the scan annyway.

It might be a fault on the rudder feedback, but I have measured 0 volts on the motor output.
I have a spare control unit 930-617. tried to switch to this, but the same error message occurred.
I later discovered a burnt resistor on circuit board 100-179 on the spare control unit. so it is possible that this therefore does not work.

when I change from standby to pilot mode I can not see that the relay on circuit board 100-179 turns on, but when I measure the voltage on the PE plug between pins 1 and 5 and 3 and 5 it seems to be okay. I have not tried with 12V directly on the motor yet, so I can not rule out that the motor is defective, but it does not get power anyway. I therefore assume that the fault lies elsewhere.

I' ve now checked the rudder indicator, seems to be okay. Connected 12V directly to the motor, the motor is working. I've also connected 5V directly to the relay on the 179 circuit board, and that also workes.
now i'm a little unsure where to continue troubleshooting. gladly accepts tips if anyone has :)

Hi, now i have changed the control unit. The motor is now running. The problem now is that if i turn on pilot mode the motor does not run propperly. Almost no change on the rudders. If i put it in standby mode and turn the wheel to starboard and put i back i pilot mod the motor runs the rudders back to the head directions. Not sure what to do next? Any suggestions?
