With the boat out on the hard and plans to cut and polish the Hull and topside I started looking into applying a ceramic coating rather then a wax.

Has anyone got any experience with them and could recommend & or offer any insight into it

Thanks

I have used Gtechniq C2 on my cars and boat for a few years... its not a ceramic coating but is easier to apply and does the same thing and works well;

Gtechniq C2 v3 Liquid Crystal Spray - Hydrophobic Nano Coat Paint Sealant, Repels Water, Dirt, Provides Premium Panel Protection Against Water and UV Damage - No Hassle, Easy To Apply (500mL): Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

..... they do a more time consuming and longer lasting version that I have considered buying for my hull... just never got around to it;

Gtechniq EXO V4 50ml Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating - Car Body and Paint Sealant Provides 18 - 24 Months of Rain and Dirt Repellent Glossy Shine, Beads Water - Easy To Apply: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

will be interested to see what people have used... I have resigned myself to the fact my navy hull looks great until about August... then its downhill from there, but very satisfying to recover the situation when its out of the water..

I used a ceramic coating, britemax-amethyst-quartz-coating
I only used it on the grey hull sides, I then over coated with g2 crystal.
sadly I only did this in October / November, which really is not long enough for a comment.
what I can tell you is; just do it,
for the amount of money involved, it can only help.
one small bottle did my targa 44 with lots left over.
make sure you panel wipe before you start,
please come back after summer and update.
