Does anyone know where I could get a direct replacement for the f'wd hatch c/w locking handles and hinge or t'scopic stay ? It is not exactly straight forward as it sits on a raised plinth. 1976 vintage.

I lost my forehatch in a blow off Barry. I couldnt find a direct replacement so I fabricated one out of 12 mm ploycarbonate. This has improved the boat a lot because there is much more light below - she feels more airy. Its a bit difficult measuring up but you can get the right shape by making a cardboard mock-up first.

Re: Centaur contact

I can suggest that you contact David Hardy at Trafalgar Yacht Services in Fareham.-01329822445- he deals in spares for Westerly and used to be a Westerly employee. If he can't help, He'll point you the correct way.
There is also a spares website, I think it is
www.mywesterly.com
or maybe .co.uk ? This is a good source of old Westerly stock
