Having had my sextant some months now, Ive decided its time I learnt how to use it, so I contacted a Yachtmaster Ocean Instructor and he can run a course, Celestial Theory if only one weekend attended or Yachtmaster Ocean Theory for people who can do two weekends, ie 40 hours, and a little exam. It would be on a really nice boat, so food and accomodation all in, and there would be a practical element to it, only trouble is I need to find enough people to make it viable (still a small group though) anyone interested? Rough idea when, where, and how much?

I can't imagine I'd be making practical use of it any time soon, but I rather like the idea.
