So there I was sat quietly in the cafe at the boatyard on Saturday lunchtime when I see a young family. The wife and husband look oddly familiar but despite wracking my brain I can't place them, they don't say anything to me so obviously not someone that I'm supposed to know.

Then when walking back to do more polishing and looking out to the river, i see a Sadler called Pixie safely moored up and I realise that it must have been snooks of this parish.

So now that we seem to have celebrities on the same pontoon as us what do we do?

;) option 2 and complain to the Management at once, demand free bodyguards around yer boat!
Yottin Press Papparatzi on your pontoon? Keep your top on whatever you do, even in the showers;)

I once saw that Tyrone off Corrie getting on his Jetski thingy at Conwy Marina.

I was once berthed next to the stinkpot owned by that Grant Michell in 'Enders in Puerto Portals. But I never saw him. If had I would have said 'Ere, wussgoinon?'

I spent half an hour talking to Sean Connery once and didn't know who he was. I also got invited for meal every night for two weeks by a well known film and tv star but I don't kiss and tell.
Strangely enough if anyone berths next to us ask to move strait away once they find out who I am. I usually manage to grab a few beers before they go.

I will.

I was wracking my brains trying to place you! We're actually on the same pontoon, so we will be going past you - no hiding!

Deacons. As snooks says, not so much a Marina but a boatyard that is undergoing a lot of development.

I am freelance, I took voluntary redundancy on May 1st last year....Since then I've become chief boat tester for Yachting Monthly which I do on a freelance basis - I organise, write about and photograph new boats.....but I also have my own business: Graham Snook Photography http://grahamsnook.com

So I'm a photographer who also writes, rather than a writer with a camera :)
