Read some recent past CB's over the Xmas break.
One contained a top 50 of classic boats.
Rather disappointed to see only 1 motor boat, the Slipper Stern launches at 49.
I love the classic sailing yachts but it is a shame there is so little editorial on Motor Boats.
Stops me from subscribing.

Mike, that is the exact reason I dont buy it, not nearly enough motor boat stuff for me.

Its a pity as there is so much going on with old mobo's.

I suppose they are MAMB - manky auld motor boats!

Walm Sailing in New Zealand

:)Hi team greetins from down under {New Zealand} As you all freeze my thoughts go out to you unless you have an icebreaker with sails.
On Sat 2nd Jan 2010 I took my old Gaff Yawl "Oyster" 1902 out for a sail on Lyttelton Harbour just 15 min from Christchurch . The weather was hot around 29 degrees and blowing a 15 to 25 knot walm North Wester so I put in one reef took of my shirt and enjoued a great day on the harbour. But as the afternoon progressed the weather changed and the wind backed around to a Southerly as it was time return to the mooring with my back nicely turning brown and a big thurst building it was home time ,yes its definitly global walming down here .
