CB subscriptions

I subscribe to CB but lately the delivery is getting later and later. Last month the April issue (published on 16th March) didn't turn up until 28th March. And the subs department didn't even acknolwedge my emails about this.

Do others suffer from this delay. It certainly puts me at a disadvantage in terms of buying popular items as I'm gong to be one of the last people to see what's for sale?

I noticed everyone else seems to get their copy before we do at work and I know when it arrives coz I always try and snaffle it before the boss does!

You don't know when you're well off. It takes two months for CB to arrive at newsagent's shops here in Melbourne, and the price is around $11. Locally produced magazines are about $6.00 per copy. An airmailed subscription copy takes a week and costs about $22, which is only manageable for millionaires.

mine arrived while i was away and was there when i picked up the mail on the 19th april.

It's very expensive here in Ireland also and takes ages to get into the newsagents - which is why I took out a subscription. Now I don't expect you will be trying to buy anything advertised in a UK magazine. I only live on the next island, about 50 minutes flight time. I therefore expect something a bit better.
