Hi All,

I know they are old technology :-)

I have a question regarding the remote regulators fitted to my boat.
There are three terminals for output - Low, Medium and High

Does anyone know if that affects the voltage that is output, or affects the amps that are output?

I have a Sterling Alternator to Battery charger fitted, and increasing the voltage will not help, but if more amps are available then I will increase my charge rate.

Sorry if this is a daft question :D

Is that a Broom in your avatar? Ocean 37?

HI – Setting for normal ambient temperatures.
MED - Setting for countries with high ambient temperatures where there is a risk of battery overheating.
LO - Setting for countries with high ambient temperatures where there is battery gassing. Once batteries have
cooled the setting must be returned to MED or HI.

That and lots more info here..

I would guess in your engine room you would be looking at MED or LO...
