Sikaflex 290dc. Primed with sika-primer in the rebates after applying bonding tape.
Just a thought, degreasing the rebates with acetone before priming is a must for a good bond.

sikaflex is so bloody expensive, once opened it seems to go off in the tube overnight so no good when you want a blob.
i used pu18 to stick and caulk my teak deck 1.5 yrs ago and still looking good, and its only £3 a tube, so it doesent matter

Sikaflex will not go off in the tube if you stick it in a freezer fairly soon after using it. I realise that this info is no use at all if you have to travel any distance to work on the boat and don't have a handy freezer on you. But its useful to know for projects in a garage. Or shed with a freezer.
