Caterpillar fuel consumption

I'm posting this for a friend who is based in NZ and is looking to buy a motor boat in Europe.

Can anybody help please? I have zero knowledge.

I have not been able to find any fuel consumption graphs for a caterpillar 3208 model engine. They are from the 80, 90's and many motor boats have them. Can you please ask on the forum if anyone has a graph showing revs against fuel consumption or has a link to a site which has them. I have found generic tables for fuel consumption but some fuel consumption figures on listings are very different.
