I also think the AZ 43 was last produced in 1998.
The 46 launched in 1996 was its official replacement, and the hull was also similar the 46 being an evolution of the former. Both boats have a Bernard Olesinski hull.

I still like the AZ43 a lot. We had one here locally from 1993 till 1995 then the owner part exchanged it for a AZ54 of 1996 vintage.

Its a bit academic as the boat has now sold, or is at least under offer. Still a few AZ43s around but non at the right price just yet.

I wouldn't have said way under market, but a reasonable deal probably. There are some nice ones, admittedly a bit older (94/95) asking €65-75k.

But yes, I was willing to have a punt at it. It will be interesting if it remains sold post survey...

I have heard many say that the 3208 with 435hp is a stay away from engine.
Apparantly 435hp is to much to get out of these engines and they often come in big heavy boats.
375hp version is known to be better and ok
Many mechanics say that it´s not a matter of if but when a total overhaul is needed
The engine goes back to the 60.s with about 160hp in the start
