If there isn't a multi function Caterpillar display at the lower helm, there may be a EMS display in the engine room, usually on the forward bulkhead on Azimut's.
If you do have the multifunction display linked to a keypad with symbols, the engine hour button has a symbol like an egg timer inside an upside down keyhole outline.
If you can find the 3196 operating manual either on board or on the internet, it will better explain this.
Alternatively a Caterpillar dealer will be able to plug into the EMS system and download every fault code ever recorded, and the engine hours.
