Noticed quite a few sunken boats left to their fate during our trip.

Saw a few, but not many considering the severity of the floods this year - expected to see more stuck on banks!

Most were removed quite quickly.

That was 6th August when we went past..

Think they hoped to save it but he was breaking it with a dredging bucket so I guess it was too rotten?

No, that's our new boat. The broker's description - 'in very good condition and with a good service history. Some recent upgrades and well kept by fastidious owner. Recently antifouled and ready to sail away'

That must be 'little' Charlie in the Kayak. Great kid, bit of a favourite of mine, aged 15 and already a Canoe/Kayak Instructor.

Noticed a few around the island below where Mr Gilmore keeps his boat.

Suspect most were not insured ?
