Hi,
At the foot of the steering pedestal I have an Autohelm 6000 box with a sprocket and chain that connects onto the steering. The case of this box is held on with plastic nuts that are mushroom shaped. These go through the case on to threaded studs. The head of the "mushroom" is what holds the case in place. I am not sure if I have explained this very well. If it helps they are similar to bicycle spoke nipples.
Being plastic and 28 years old they have disintegrated. Does anyone know where I can get replacements?
Thanks.
