Carter Offshore 35

I am just about to complete the purchase of a Carter 35 with drop keel and would appreciate any information about these. There is little or no information here [Canada]

1st serious boat was a Carter 30 but fin keel - old fashioned but sound as a pound, apart from the string between the saloon and the heads, i.e where the mast is stepped. The constant water in the sump would always rot any woodwork. Can't speak for the lift keel version. Didn't even know they did one. Having said that it was an East Coast UK design so would make sense with all the sandbanks around here
