Just to let you know, for those travelling up the Spanish coast, the pilot guides all tell you to go into the marina on the left, as you face it as it were, but we did this and the ferries and pilot boats all move about at speed, creating a great wash, making it very uncomfortable. So l wandered to the other marina next door, away from the wash to find that the rates are cheaper, the people very friendy, facilities good and only a few metres further away from town, so we moved! This was designated the 'superyacht' marina, but as that didn't come off it's opened up to all. Just call 'yacht puerto cartagena' on channel 9 or just go in.
Our 12 metre boat cost 28 euros in the first marina and 22 euros in the second, so for us staying a few nights it was well worth it.
Longer styas for 12M would be 413 euros a month on an adhoc basis and then long term rates for one month are 378 euros. This includes electricty and water. A lovely town, loads of history and relatively inexpensive for a longer stay.
Happy sailing.
