Carpet tiles for quarterberth?

Solvent fume damgers

I did that! :p

Don't know what glue sniffers get out of it. Not an experience I would care to repeat.

I was ovecome with solvent fumes 30 years ago when using Thixofix in an aft cabin and ended up with severe liver problems, jaundace, off work for 3 months and could not drink wine for about 3 years.

Recently I bought a product called TimeBond which claimed to be low odour. Low Odour my ^£$e, it smelled just like the Thixofix which almost killed me

Here is my quarter berth. I think it looks quite smart. The wrinkle effect at the back is caused by something under the fabric.

I did take some carpet tiles down to the boat to replace the flooring with, however, they are so stiff that I couldn't be bothered to attempt to fit them and will be getting a nice flexible easy to cut carpet instead. In my opinion, carpet tiles would be a pain to fit, compared to the van stuff.

That looks really good. I hope to be doing mine sometime next winter. Where would I source that van stuff?
