I have a small strip of cheap rubber backed carpeting in the saloon, nicer underfoot and non slip. Had got very grubby over the last year and was resigned to replacing it, but decided to try pressure washing it first. Scrubbed in a carpet shampoo with a deck brush and WOW - it's come up like new!! and doesn't appear to have damaged it either.

I'd rather be sailing... :-) /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

You spoil the little woman doing it with a pressure washer. Let her get down on her hands and knees and scrub it. Needless to say SWMBO does read these forums !!!
