The property was allocated within the adopted South Oxfordshire District Council Core Strategy 2012 and detailed planning and listed building consent was granted in March 2016 for redevelopment, to include:
• Provision of 166 residential dwellings (no affordable housing)
• 104 flats (101 new build, 3 conversion) and 62 houses (56 new build, 6 conversion)
• Refurbishment of Grade II and Grade II* Listed buildings including provision of a restaurant/cafe and swimming pool
• Retention of boating facilities and associated landscaping
• Access and parking arrangements
I also understand that CABI (other side of the bridge) is also earmarked for housing.
