Mark up your diaries now - forget the Olympics, the date has been set for 'the' sailing event of 2012! Come and join us!

Dinghy racing within Cardiff Bay, and cruiser racing outside starting off Penarth on both days.

BBQ and live music from a superb local band called 'The Replicas' on Saturday night, and a free prize giving buffet, kids entertainment and more live music on the Sunday evening.

We have a free visitors pontoon, where we've previously hosted upto 36 boats (with some rafting) - A very warm welcome awaits.

Can't wait for it. , I prob will be on SB duties on the dinghy racing.

Some extra info:-

There will be yacht racing outside the barrage starting off Penarth on both Saturday and Sunday.The Notice of race and sailing instructions for the Cruiser races are available for download from the new download page in the information section of our website - http://cardiffyachtclub.org/downloads.html.

There will be Dinghy racing in the Bay on both days.

On Saturday evening there will be a BBQ at about 18:00.

There will be live music on Saturday evening by a superb local cover band called 'The Replicas' who play pop and rock hits from the 60's to the present.

There will be a magician providing kids entertainment from 14:30 on Sunday.

There will be a free buffet at the presentation on Sunday evening.

Then more live entertainment from CYC's very own 'The Martyn Randall Band'.

The bar and galley will be open all weekend.
