Cardiff Bay Meet 2011

Evening all,

I am sure this has already happened on many occasions before but as a newbie I would welcome the opportunity to meet as many of you as possible to expand my knowledge, get insider info on best places to anchor, best pub in the bay and so on.

As has been implied on your other thread, I'm always up for meeting and will drink beer if its forced upon me

We try to get out and about as often as possible but we are down to about once every 3 weeks it seems at the moment.

We berth at Portishead but can often be found in the vicinity of Mermaid Quay. Although judging by the number of pontoons available this weekend its going to get cosy down there this year.

BTW welcome to boating on the BC!

Thanks WM My friend lives in Portishead marina so I suppose I will be over there a fair bit. Been down the bay today looking at the locks and wishing I was on the water!!!

Sooner the bloody better
