At last!

An alternative to the over priced, greasy, cold, served by miserable teenagers excuse for a chip shop that is Harry Ramsdens -
Just two minutes walk from Tesco, past the Packet Hotel - turn left at the lights and 1st right into West Bute Street a proper chippy with great curry sauce. A choice of strong or mild.
Freshly fried fish and crispy chips - the mushy peas were a little dry though, try it I'm sure you won't be dissaponted.

No connection or comercial interest, just a satisfied customer.

Now, can someone open one near Swansea marina?

I shall remember that we have had a couple of bad fish from Harry Ramsdens ..

Chip shop at padstow if you go down that far one street into the town from the harbour all the locals use it ten times better than rick steins chip shop and nearly half the price , they do a nice cup/mug of tea aswell

The Tikka Flame is very good, on the harbourside (very nearly) between Oceana and Las Iguanas.
We love Las Igs!
There is also a very good Indian in King Street, on the way to The Old Duke jazz pub, can't remember it's name but it is down stairs, below street level. Very good pricing and a more traditional Indian than Tikka Flame.

The Raj

We tried there once, very good ,allways a good sign when you have to wait for a table,we went to thje pub over the road for an hour.. Will give the Tikka flame a go next time. Cheers
