I hope this isn't taken as advertising, but I don't think so, it's just interesting IMHO

A couple of colleague of mine have been part of some research work considering these really interesting, and at that time space-age vessels.

There is also a full size reconstruction of a caravel (a separate project) called the 'Vera Cruz' in Lisbon. I have, with a colleague, designed 2 new carbon yards(?) for this latin sailed vessel, it's my first go at such a thing, and at 27m it's not a small 'un, so anyone with any experience in this type of thing please pm me!
Again I don't think this is advertising as we are doing it for free for the non-profit get-kids-sailing organisation that runs her.
