Hi all, been googling about looking at various ways of removing the tatty vinyl hull stripes off our boat.
The stripes have been on since new (1985) and spent until last year when she came to the UK baking in the Portuguese sun.
I was thinking I'd try a hair dryer to lift them first and move on to a heat gun if the hair dryer doesn't have the testicles when I came across these wheels used primarily by car detailers to remove stripes, decals, etc.

I would be interested to read if anyone has used one as allegedly a speedy way to remove the old vinyl.
