I think it's a Formosa 51.

Re the Formosa 51, another similar type of vessel is the Vagabond 47.
Lots of Vagabond 42s and 47s for sale on Yachtworld.

And re the Formosa 41, there were variations called the Island Trader 41, China Clipper 41 and the CT 41. I used to go sailing with a pal who had a a CT 41 here 35 years ago - and she was gorgeous then.

I have heard the term 'teaky leaky' applied to this type of vessel.... much in the same manner (term of endearment?) as folk call Cheoy Lee boats 'Chewy Lewys'.......

In the photos of the 41 in your link, it looks as if the teak decks have been ripped up, and a not-very-good fibreglassing job as been applied to replace them. So at least you wouldn't have that worry of having to take up / renew the teak deck!
But you might probably find that all of the systems are due for overhaul or renewal, and it would be very easy to throw money in large quantities at this boat (if you so desired...)

I think I would prefer a nice AWB any day....... just look at all the potential varnish work that can be done on that Formosa......
