Plain clothes officers from the new Marine Enforcement Team close in on another likely offender under the new rules governing boat names, graphics and spelling. The new legislation which covers all classes of vessels including working boats and leisure craft contains rules about alcohol consumption at sea, e-borders regulations and a dress code for yachtsmen. Last week a Southampton pilot boat was arrested when it was discovered it had only one pilot aboard despite the name PILOTS which implied pilots plural.
