Spent the day sorting out this little ordeal. Owner was quite light hearted about the whole situation which ended up in a 'fun' recovery. Boat is now off the rocks, plugged and being lifted out for repair. Most importantly, no one hurt. Took us about 10 hours in total to get her sorted. As we were on fresh water air-bags and a high tide wasn't possible to float her off, so we had to dig all the rocks away that she drover over and then slide her off the main rock she was sitting on (She was see-sawing off a single rock about half way along the length of theboat). We did this by jacking up the bow, putting planks under her and then jacking at an angle again (so we could predict the way she would fall) - A very tense moment but worked out well... not bad for a bunch of amatuers

Snap. Just like the one that was brought into a boatyard near Dordrect in Holland, tied to the side of a refueling barge that had a huge pump going flat out to keep boat from sinking. The yard lifted it out this was 1am by the way and damage was, hole in the same placeas in photo, another hole midships along the keel, hole in leg and blade missing from prop.

Now the boat had been purchased from the same yard that afternoon, luckily it had been insured at the same time, the boat sailed out at 4pm and hit what ever at around 8pm. It then took another 4hrs to rescue it and get it back to the yard.

The driver wa the boyfriend of the lady who had just bought it, I dont think he got anywhere that night.
