Many years back I bought a Caprice Mk111 hull from Yachthaven for home completion. Being a boatbuilder this was not a difficult task. Much strengthening was needed around the bilge keel area to stop sag and in many other areas. The rigging was of ahigher spec than normal and all running riging was run back to the cockpit for single hand operation. I installed a Vire inboard engine .
My question is , how can I trace her. The owners club is no longer and Robert Tucker's son seems unwilling to provide assistance in this area. Her name was Misty. Her hull was Blue and was sold from Nottingham area in about 1980 or there abouts. I am vague in that area as it was quite traumatic selling her, I had been made redundant from the boatyard I had worked in for many years . this was the ressesion of the 80's and no work about. Selling my beloved Misty was a last resort but now I would love to trace her
