Canvas Cover maker Plymouth wanted

Can anyone, ideally with first hand experience, recommend a canvas cover maker in the Plymouth area?

We have used 1 before and wouldn't use again. Made an appointment to view with another but they didn't show up.

Ocean Canvas. Excellent and they have made several covers and spray hoods and mainsail covers etc for me. Say hi to Sarah and her husband Nick (a sailmaker) from me.

Yep - they even have workshops inside the Princess Newport Street factory.
But their main office/workshops are out of town.

I used Mark Underwood 07888 839937 based in Plymouth .He only cleaned and repaired my covers but was given his names by someone in Mayflower who has used him to make full new covers and very pleased with his work and very reasonable. Great guy but don't hold your breath !

Mark is the one who didn't turn up. It took me a while to get hold of him in the first place. I don't want someone who I have to chase even for a quote.

I use https://www.rowsellsails.co.uk/ in Exmouth (nearer the house) and do a lot of work in Plymouth. They have a brilliant canvas guy called "Mac".
